Gina is a veteran of the US Army and a firefighter. We are very proud to have her on our team! She began her real estate career in 2015 and has quickly become well known in the industry through her professionalism and desire to help others. The following answers to a few questions will give you an idea of the integrity she offers:
What do you love about the service you offer?
I treat people like family. I talk to them like a have known them for years. I’m also straight forward.
What led you to this profession?
I was looking for a career that would give me the flexibility to attend my children’s school function and to work around a fireman’s schedule. I need to be able to pick kids up for school and run them around to sporting events. My husband and I have moved around a lot over the past 17 years. I knew that I had experience that could ease the stresses of buying and selling a home for my clients.
How does your profession allow you to contribute to society?
Some days I’m simply someone to talk to. People need to know that someone, anyone is listening. I am that person.
What do you want people to know about you?
I was assigned to Goodfellow AFB in 2005 to be a Drill Sergeant for the Army firefighters going through the DOD Fire Academy. I feel like that position prepared me for just about anything. Every day is different in Real Estate. You never know what is going to happen or what people are going to say but most of the time they just need a little guidance.
I became a noncommissioned officer in the Army in 2003. The year the United
States went into Iraq. I was a young , inexperienced Soldier. I suddenly had the responsibility of our nation’s sons and daughters on my shoulders. It was a humbling experience.
I am also a fireman’s wife. My family and I are servants of San Angelo. My children and I send my husband off each shift not knowing the dangers he will face.
What is your passion?
I have a passion for life! I have been so blessed to have all of these extraordinary experiences, firefighting, living overseas, MedEvac mission on a Huey helicopter, twin girls and of course a nearly 10 pound baby! Why?! How is it that I get to experience all of these amazing things? I am learning each and every day that I am to be the hands
and feet of Jesus. All of my experiences are tools to share my story with others. My passion, that others might see the love of Christ through me.
What might be your personal mission statement?
Get’re done! No I’m totally kidding. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
